Sour Beer Festival to be held in Bloomington, Indiana.

The Upland Brewing Co. of Bloomington, IN, will host the The Sour + Wild + Funk Fest in Bloomington on May 12th.

"The Sour + Wild + Funk Fest is Indianapolis' first beer festival to focus exclusively on one of the hottest trends in craft beer: sour ales," said Charles Stanley, strategic projects manager for Upland Brewing Co. "We'll have more than thirty styles of sour ales from around the state, country, and world, and all paired with foods designed to accentuate the unique flavors of these specialty beers."

The Fest will be held at Bloomington;s Developer Town on Saturday, May 12th from 2-6pm.

"Since this is the first ever Sour + Wild + Funk Fest, we want to do something special," Mr. Stanley said. "We are offering 200 tickets that come with a reservation for one bottle each of our upcoming release of Raspberry, Persimmon, and Blackberry Lambics before general reservations begin on April 25th. There are only 150 additional tickets available, for a total of 350 tickets." More info at
