Sounds great at Surreal night; SURREAL - THE ART OF NOISE THE COLOSSEUM, JANUARY 30.
With three rooms to sample, we began in the main room, where Marc Jarman and Carl Williams rocked the place with stilt walkers and performers adding to the atmosphere which could only be described as electric.
In room two drum and bass was the sound and the massive crowd was moving to the sounds of Fallout, The Saint and London's very own Nicky Blackmarket, who said: "Drum and bass in the Midlands, it has to be daylight robbery. Things were running in there. What a night."
In room three cocktails were being served to the sounds of Paul Wellington.
The night was very enjoyable but a few days to recover are essential.
The next Surreal takes place at The Colosseum on February 27 with Frankie Foncett from the Ministry of Sound and Roy Roach in the main room and Kenny Ken and Randall in the drum and bass room.
