Sorted And The City IN DUBLIN: JOBS AT THE TOP.

Byline: Andrew Penman & Michael Greenwood

THE jobs position for executives is continuing to thrive in Ireland, new figures suggested yesterday.

Statistics from Torc Consulting reported that around 3,020 vacancies for executives were advertised in the first quarter of the year - an increase of close-on 20 per cent on the previous three months, and 12.6 per cent up on the corresponding quarter last year.

Torc director Paddy Collins said: "The market for senior managers started improving towards the end of last year, and we are very happy to report continued growth and the highest quarterly figures in the last two years."
