Soprano Chantal Dionne received the Jury's Award and the Festival Award last June at the Concert-Competition of the Schlumberger Foundation.

SOPRANO CHANTAL DIONNE RECEIVED THE JURY'S Award and the Festival Award last June at the Concert-Competition of the Schlumberger Foundation, Les grandes voix de demain, at the Festival des Heures Musicales de Biot in France. In September, Dionne will record her debut CD on the Analekta label. Upcoming engagements include an evening with the Ensemble Amati in Longueuil on Nov. 7, and in the series Les Melodines at the Place des Arts in Montreal two days later. She sings in Vaughan Williams' Sea Symphony with the Trois-Rivieres Symphony, conducted by Jacques Lacombe, next Apr. 21.
