Sony unveils High Resolution audio products.

Japanese electronics giant Sony has unveiled digital audio player "Walkman ZX-1", IC recorder "PCM-D100", Hard disc audio player system "HAP-S1", speaker system "SS-HA1 and a headphone "MDR-1" recently. The new series of high quality audio set series called "High-Resolution Audio", which equals the quality of compact disc (CD).

Sony will put the high end Walkman player to apply for the high-resolution audio on the market in December.

The Sony Walkman ZX1 is a high-end portable media player running via the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system, offering users and consumers a 4-inch LCD touchscreen display with 854 x 480 pixel native resolution, and a 1 GHz dual-core processor. Additional features include 128GB of internal storage, as well as WiFi, micro USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options.

The higher end NW-ZX1 comes in a silver color scheme and with a huge amount of storage space of 128GB. It features a 4-inch display with a resolution of 854x480, is Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi capable. The NW-F880 features a smaller, 3.5-inch screen and is tagged at a lower price point and comes in variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. This lower end model will be offered in four colors including black, white, blue and pink. Playback on the ZX1 and NW-F880 supports 24-bit/196kHz hi-res audio and includes a variety of formats. Both Sony Walkman series players support WMA, AAC, ATRAC, AAC, HE-AAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF and Apple Lossless.

Sony introduced its new premium headbandtype MDR-1 headphones. Available in standard, Bluetooth(r) wireless and digital noise canceling versions, the new MDR-1 headphones is a result of a unique collaboration between Sony Electronics and Sony Music Entertainment.

With enlarged air vents at the back of each driver, music lovers experience a quick and rhythmic low frequency response.
