Sweden-based pan-Nordic telecommunications operator Song Networks Holding AB issued on Thursday (28 October) a revised statement in relation to the announced public offers by the Danish telecomms group TDC A/S and Sweden-based pan-European telecommunications company Tele2 AB.
The consideration under TDC's increased offer, SEK95 per share and convertible debentures, is higher than the consideration under Tele2's offer, SEK85 per share and convertible debentures, according to the company.
Therefore, the board of directors now recommends shareholders and holders of convertible debentures in Song to dispose of their shares and convertible debentures by accepting TDC's offer.
TDC has also announced that its aggregate holding in Song represents 57.4% of the votes and the share capital after conversion of all convertible debentures issued by Song, the company added.
