A MAN was taken to hospital with head injuries after a reported fight at a Rod Stewart tribute show.

Several police units and paramedics attended the Forum Theatre in Billingham, Teesside, on Friday night.

According to reports on social media, an argument broke out between two men at the end of the "Some Guys Have All the Luck - The Rod Stewart Story".

Witnesses said the men came to blows in one of the boxes in the theatre.

"No need for five police vans, two police cars and two lots of paramedics. Got to say, the show was fantastic."

Another said: "My daughter was at Rod Stewart last night and big fight broke out in box next to hers, really bad and blood all over, and pretty nasty by all accounts."
