Solution to nuisance calls; FEEDBACK.

I HAVE just been reading the letters regarding cold callers/ nuisance calls.

I tried all the usual ways, that they suggest in their letters.

I know that I can help them and many others, but it just depends on how much they want to help themselves.

Just over ten years ago, I spoke to BT about this subject, and they offered me a Callblocker.

I had to pay for it, but it has been worth far more than I paid for it. Ever since I put it into my system, this was over ten years ago, I have not received one single cold call/ nuisance call at all.

I was not, and am still not, a BT customer, so anyone can buy this machine.

It is small and unobtrusive, and only ignorant people don't like it, because they have to listen to a message, and that is hard work for ignorant people, and maybe we don't want to talk to them anyway.

It sits between your line in and your phone base/answer phone, and requires the caller to listen for a number to press, to carry on the conversation.

Without that number there is no call to answer. Cold callers are warned that it is illegal for them to press the number to carry forward the call. It has worked for over ten years for me.
