Solis Partners completes 125-kW solar installation in New Jersey.

(SeeNews) - Nov 7, 2012 - US commercial solar power systems integrator Solis Partners LLC said Tuesday it had recently constructed a 125-kW solar system in New Jersey.

The company installed a ground-mounted solar facility for the Church of the Resurrection located in the township of Delran, Burlington County. The system consists of 518 solar panels and has an annual output of 165,000 kWh, enough to meet 80% of the parish's annual power needs and mitigate around 251,000 pounds (114 metric tonnes) of carbon dioxide a year.

Under a power purchase agreement, Solis Partners will own and operate the system over the next 15 years and sell the electricity it produces to the church. After the term of the agreement ends, the parish could acquire the solar array for the remaining of its life, which is over 25 years.

This is the fourth solar array installed by Solis Partners in the Catholic Diocese of Trenton, which includes Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties. A solar installation for another church in New Jersey is currently under development.
