FAMILIES will be able to go on a trail of discovery around a village park later this month.

Solihull Council has organised a session called Trees For Beginners which will be held on Monday, July 23, at Dorridge Park.

People of all ages will be able to go along to the park, which is in Dorridge, where rangers will be showing visitors how to identify trees by looking at the leaves.

The event is free and will run between 2pm and 3.30pm and the council says people should wear appropriate footwear.
