CONCORD, Mass. -- Market leader has more than 1,000 companies using SolidWorks software in Latin America's largest country

Responding to increasing customer demand and a dynamic market for its 3D mechanical design software, SolidWorks Corporation today opened a new office in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

The office will help coordinate activities of authorized SolidWorks resellers serving more than 1,000 companies in the country and selling SolidWorks(R) 3D mechanical design software, COSMOS(TM) design analysis software, and related solutions to help customers move better products more quickly to market.

"This new office enables SolidWorks to get closer to our customers, who are growing in number every day, and will help us bring their businesses to the next level," said Jeff Ray, SolidWorks' chief operating officer.
