Soho superstar makes debut: Selldorf / Atlas/ Square Mile.
Selldorf Architects, Atlas Capital Group, Square Mile Capital, and CORE have officially launched the sales of 42 Crosby, a 50,000 s/f condominium in SoHo.
With unit prices starting at $8,250,000, and a penthouse at $25 million, the property will include 10 residences within seven stories.
The design offers a contemporary interpretation of the SoHo neighborhood's cast iron architecture, articulating traditional characteristics such as uniform composition, column and spandrel vocabulary, and prefabricated construction in a highly modern tone.
An innovative state-of-the-art window shading system mitigates sunlight and reduces heating and cooling costs by automatically rising and lowering in response to exterior temperature and lighting conditions. Tenants will be able to control these shades independently.
42 Crosby consists of nine three-bedrooms and a penthouse. It has a porte cochrre for residents, enabling them to enter the lobby from a private entrance away from the street
The porte cochrre contains a green wall, and the building lobby will contain site-specific terrarium gardens and sculptures by artist Paula Hayes.
