SoftTek unveils new UNIX fax server software.

TRABUCO CANYON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 25, 1996--SoftTek Inc., a leading developer and supplier of fax software, Monday announced a new version of n.FAX fax software, which includes new features and improved reliability.

The new features include:

- A unique and colorful user front-end

- Integration with Web servers to provide faxing of HTML pages

- User-defined templates for filling in fax forms

- Increased number of lines that can be accessed from the cover

page area

- Support for European A4 sized paper

With this new release, n.FAX now becomes part of a comprehensive suite of unique fax solutions that SoftTek will unveil at FaxWorld and Internet World in early December. While not disclosing specifics on the upcoming new products, the company noted that a web-based product will be unveiled.

n.FAX provides an easy to use, point and click Motif interface to create, view and send faxes in a UNIX networked environment. Interfaces are provided to fax directly from popular UNIX work processing packages such as FrameMaker(a) and Interleaf(a). n.FAX is running in more than 300 Fortune 1000 companies providing fax automation and cost-effective communications.

According to SoftTek President Tim Dales, "n.FAX 3.0 was developed directly from the input of our customers and addresses their demanding fax requirements."

Existing software maintenance SoftTek customers will receive this upgrade at no charge. Pricing for n.FAX starts at $1,595.
