Social for sales; out ANDABOUT.

INVESTMENT in online marketing yielded a 20% sales jump last year for a Welsh food company.

Black Mountains Smokery, Crickhowell, said a new easy-tonavigate website, designed with internet search engines in mind, was a crucial factor.

So too was its commitment to social media platforms such as facebook and twitter, with staff encouraged to create digital content to engage customers.

Now the firm has released a short YouTube film, highlighting its use of digital marketing, to help other food businesses in Wales.

The Welsh Food & Drink Skills Project also offers on-line sales courses and in-house training - call 01982 552646 for details.
