Sobal Releases RFID Module Development Support Kit Compatible with UHF Band for Handy Terminals.
Tokyo, Japan, Mar 6, 2007 - (JCN) - Sobal will release the M9 Handy Terminal DK, a built-in UHF band RFID module development kit with the smallest in-class SkyeModule M9 CF and 2 types of compact antennas, with other accessories, for a trial project.The SkyeModule M9 CF is compatible with multiple protocols and allows reading and writing on IC tags (including EPC C1G1, EPC C1G2, ISO18000-6B/6C).
The two UHF band antennas include a small circular polarized wave antenna A, which is good for short distance transmission of 10 cm (at the maximum), and a direct polarized antenna B, good for long distance transmission of 30 cm (at the maximum).
The M9 Handy Terminal DK will be displayed at the IC Card World 2007 at the Tokyo Big Sight between March 6 and 9.
