Soap suds.

CORONATION STREET (ITV1) IT'S clear that Kirsty has an anger issue, but getting her to do something about it is another matter.

Although she tells Tyrone she'll go see Dr Carter, she gives the clinic a wide berth, and later has an explosive argument with Ty - and for once it's the ex-copper who ends up being injured.

Deirdre naturally gets the wrong end of the stick, thinking the mechanic has been abusing Kirsty. Later, Ty confesses all to Tina, and dumps most of Kirsty's belongings, but then pushes his friends away when he needs them most.

EMMERDALE (ITV1) IT'S an exciting time for Rhona and Paddy as they prepare for their wedding and their big move to New Zealand, but not everybody feels like celebrating their new life.

After Paddy gives a speech at his stag night about his 'big adventure', it finally gets too much for Marlon, who resigns as best man and vows to Laurel that he will fight to keep his son in the country.

On the big day itself, the groom is saddened not to have his best mate at his side, and thrilled when Marlon does put in an appearance. But would he be so happy if he knew that instead of a speech, his mate is planning to deliver a court order preventing the couple from taking Leo out of the country? NEIGHBOURS (FIVE) AS CALLUM and Toadie prepare to attend Troy's funeral, Jade and Sonya support each other through a hard day, and draw comfort from the fact that at least they've now found good men. However, it seems they've spoken too soon as Kate reveals the truth about her kiss with Kyle, leaving Jade convinced their relationship is over.

EASTENDERS (BBC ONE) IAN may be back in the Square, but we could have a long wait before we see him reclaim his rightful place at the head of the Beale family business empire.

Not only is Lucy still insisting that her dad gave up any claim on her or the caf when he walked out, but Ian clearly still isn't quite himself.

Phil thinks his disoriented state is a good thing, especially if it means he doesn't remember anything about Heather's death, and discourages Ben from doing anything that might jog his memory.

However, even the terrifying prospect of taking part in a sponsored abseil at community fundraising day can't stop Shirley talking about her murdered best mate.

HOLLYOAKS (CHANNEL 4) SHE'S got herself in to some ridiculous situations in the past, but mark Mercedes' words, she will not be pushed around. While it may look as though her plans are coming off as far as Riley is concerned, Dr Browning is proving to be a little more troublesome.
