Soap stories: About to Jack it all in; HOME AND AWAY WEEKDAYS, BBC1, 5.35pm.

Jack's had a lot on his plate - not only has he been told there's a chance he'll never walk again, he's also had to come to terms with the end of his marriage to Martha.

However, while his wife might not have been there to support him, the copper has found a new friend in physiotherapist Sam.

Jack needs her help more than ever as he struggles to deal with the realities of his condition but hemakes a chance remark which seems to touch a raw nerve.

Suddenly, their blossoming relationship appears to be in jeopardy as she announces she can't treat him anymore - but why is she is drawing away?

Elsewhere, Amanda is left in tears following another row with Belle but, luckily, Peter is on hand to comfort her and it isn't long before the two of them are giving in to their feelings.
