Soap stories: A tearful reunion at wake; EMMERDALE MONDAY, STV, 7pm.

It's a highly charged time for the Sugdens when the day of Jack's funeral arrives.

Diane bids a tearful goodbye to her husband as she reads out a letter from him but it all gets too much for Andy, who runs out of the service.

Meanwhile, Robert arrives back in the village, watching the funeral from a distance and visiting the farmto reminisce while it is empty.

However, he is soon spotted and shares a tearful reunion with Andy. Later in the week, events in court take an unexpected turn for Debbie. Eli's misjudged attempts to get her off the hook lead to Debbie's charge being upped to murder - with the prosecution now claiming that she killed Shane out of jealousy over his relationship with Jasmine.

The Dingles are also surprised to see village newcomer Natasha Wylde watching the proceedings unfold in the courtroom.
