So what's up, your highness?

SUMMER'S looking up for Princess Charlotte and Prince George as they gawp at the flypast for their great-gran's 91st birthday.

The young royals joined the Queen and the rest of the family waving from the balcony at Buckingham Palace during a scorching Trooping the Colour parade. And little Charlotte was in the same colour troop as her mum, with both picking hot pink dresses.

But things were not so cool for guardsman in bearskins, who had to be stretchered off Horse Guards Parade after fainting in the sweltering sunshine. One sweaty soldier fell forward out of formation as the mercury hit 29C in St James's Park. More than 1,000 soldiers took part in the flamboyant event.

An Army spokesman said: "It was an extremely hot day for the Queen's birthday parade."
