Snowdrops aid charity.

OPEN weekends at a stunning Anglesey garden raised pounds 6,500 for cancer charities.

Visitors to the snowdrop filled gardens at Henblas helped raise the money last month, with Barclays Bank also making a donation.

The cash will now go Cancer Research Uk and the Snowdrop Appeal run by Rhoscefnhir fundraiser Linda Jones, who set up the appeal in memory of her husband Gwynn.

Gwilym Lloyd Davies, from Henblas, said: "We would like to thank all the people that came to see the wonderful display and to thank everyone for their generosity. Thank you all very much."
