Snowball fight ends in weapon discovery.
Teenage yobs burst into student halls in Paisley armed with a knuckleduster after losing a snowball fight.
Cops raced to the Gilmour Street accommodation on Tuesday night to reports that a gang of five youths had forced their way inside.
It is believed the teens came off second when a student pelted them with snowballs earlier in the evening and they went to exact revenge.
Shocked security staff alerted the police at around 9.45pm on Tuesday night that the group had entered the building and were potentially armed.
The gang scarpered when the police arrived, but officers later caught up with three of them a short distance away.
One of the youths was found to be carrying a knuckleduster when he was stopped by officers.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said three 15-year-old boys will be subject to a report the Children's Reporter.
