Snooker: Brilliant Rocket 7-1 to win with a session to spare; WORLD SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP BBC TWO EURO SPORT Tomorrow 3pm.

Byline: By Adrian Humphries

RONNIE O'SULLIVAN insists he will not be guilty of complacency as he bids to win a third World Championship crown over the next two days against the winner of last night's semi-final between Ali Carter or Joe Perry.

Stephen Hendry said O'Sullivan produced "snooker perfection" as the seven-times world champion was overwhelmed 17-6 on Friday with a session to spare in their last-four clash.

The Rocket, who is 7-1 with Paddy Power to win the final with a session to spare (he would need to win before his opponent claimed seven frames), won 12 of his 17 frames in a row against Hendry and compiled 448 points without reply.

But he is taking nothing for granted. He said: "If I was as confident as I used to be, there's a chance that I would be overconfident in the final.

"But you have still got to battle through these games and there have been times in this tournament when it has been hard."

Hendry said: "It was outstanding snooker, the best I've ever played against. Ronnie is the best in the world by a country mile."

Power rate O'Sullivan 4-6 to compile four or more tons, while he is 12-1 to achieve his second maximum break at the Crucible this year.

Paddy Power's O'Sullivan final specials:

12 147 break; total centuries: 4-6 four or more, 11-10 three or fewer; to win with session to spare: 1-20 no, 7 yes.
