Snap Appliance and Symantec team for product integration.
Enterprise storage solutions provider Snap Appliance has joined forces with online security company Symantec Corp (Nasdaq: SYMC) to provide a disaster recovery solution.
Both companies have worked together to launch a disk-based data protection solution that combines the Snap Server NAS system with the V2i Protector software from Symantec. This will enable users to protect and recover data on Windows-based servers should a system failure, computer virus, hacker theft or other incident result in data loss.
Pricing starts at USD1,799 for the next 90 days. After the introductory period the cost of the product will increase to USD2,799.
