Snake fan up on rattlers rap; weird WORLD.

A MAN who kept 25 Western rattlesnakes in a large bucket in his flat has been ordered to appear in court.

Terry Teeter, 38, was given two misdemeanour citations by the Idaho state's Department of Fish and Game in May after dozens of snakes were discovered at his home. Officials said he had as many as 32 at one time but gave some away and ate two others.

Mr Teeter said he was unaware a licence was needed to hunt rattlesnakes in Idaho and did not know that there is a state limit of four rattlesnakes a year.

The citations list possession, transport or shipment of wildlife.
