Smith Flow Control Ltd.

Smith Flow Control is supplying safety interlocks for the Buzzard field in the North Sea operated by EnCana (U.K.) Limited. Smith Flow Control says it will supply around 220 interlocks for process pressure protection and for the crude oil export pig launcher. Smith Flow, says interlocks ensure all valve handling procedures are carried out in the correct sequence, reducing the chances of serious accidents due to operator error.
