Small planes collide in Argentina, three killed.

Buenos Aires, Jumada I 29, 1437, March 09, 2016, SPA -- Two single-engine aircraft collided near an airfield in Argentina, killing three people, officials said Wednesday.

One more person was injured in the accident late Tuesday outside General Rodriguez, a city 50 kilometres west of Buenos Aires, the national aviation authority JIAAC said on Twitter, dpa reported.

The aircraft involved were a Cessna 152 operated by a flight school, and a prototype training model by the Argentinian manufacturer Petrel, Telam.com reported online.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
