EPA has Issued a pre-solicitation notice for the Small Business Innovation Research program. The agency plans to award 15 firm, fixed-price contracts to small businesses for research and development In the following areas: Nanomaterials and Clean Technology; Prevention and Control of Air Pollution; Treatment and Monitoring of Drinking Water; Municipal and Industrial Wastewater Treatment; Hazardous Waste Management and Site Remediation; Recycling of Municipal and Industrial Solid Waste; Monitoring and Measurement Technologies; and Environmental Bioterrorism Detection and Decontamination. The NAICS code Is 541710.

The solicitation will be available about March 28, with proposals due May 23. The solicitation will posted at www.epa.gov/ncerga/sbir/ and www.epa.gov/oam/rtp cmd/.
