Skyfall: Javier Bardem the latest Bond baddie.

Summary: Javier Bardem is one of the most attractive men in Hollywood, so his appearance in the new James Bond film may surprise fans.

Married to Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem is one of the most attractive men in Hollywood, so his appearance in the new James Bond film may surprise fans.

With blonde hair and a creepy demeanour, Bardem plays a classic Bond villain, alongside Daniel Craig as the heartthrob.

Bardem insists the look of his character, Raoul Silva, was all down to director Sam Mendes.

"It's all based on this idea that he brought... which is to create comfortableness to the opponent, and we tried to also bring that into the physicality and creating this uncomfortable look to watch," Bardem said.

The actor, 43, insists the complexity of the character drew him to the role.

"It's not about being a good or bad person, it's about who's the person behind the role, and in this case it's a very complex human being and I thought that was more interesting."

Skyfall is released across the UK on October 26.
