Sky Blues ready for record gate as Chelsea hit town; FA CUP: Police tell supporters to arrive early to avoid chaos at Ricoh showdown.
The match, which kicks off at 12.30pm, is likely to atttract the club's first capacity crowd at the 32,000 seater venue. The three car parks, A, B and C, will open at 9am with limited cash-only sales available in C on a first-come, first-served basis. Turnstiles into the stadium open at 10am.
Anthony Mundy, facilities director at the Ricoh Arena, said: "We have proved capable of holding big events since we have had 40,000 for the Bon Jovi and Red Hot Chili Peppers concerts, but this will be the biggest football attendance since we hosted an England Under-21 international. Supporters picking up tickets on the morning of the match should collect them from the box office by 10.45am."
There is also parking at park-andride sites at Coventry Airport, Broadstreet Rugby Football Club and Coventrians Rugby Football Club and park-and-walk sites at Christ the King, Wayside Business Park and St Finbars FC.
There will also be buses running to and from the Ricoh from Pool Meadow Bus Station. For more, visit www.ricoharena.com and click on 'travel'.
