Sky Blues bosses get down to summer business.

RAY RANSON is gathering Coventry City's management team together today for a major strategy meeting.

The Sky Blues chairman was due to sit down with Chris Coleman and his backroom team to discuss the way forward after a disappointing Coca-Cola Championship campaign.

High on the agenda will be players the club want to target and those surplus to requirement as the club draw up an exciting new strategy to bring better times to the Ricoh Arena.

"We are all getting our heads together to put a firm strategy in place," revealed Ranson, who is meeting with Coleman, assistant manager Steve Kean, performance director John Murtough, fitness coach Mark Howard and chief scout Andy Thorn.

"The manager has got a list and Andy Thorn has got a list so it will be a download session.

"The players will all be going off on their holidays but the fans can rest assured that we are hard at work. This will be a big session when we will assess the situation and get things moving. It is still early days but the rebuilding has started."
