WITH the domestic football season creeping ever closer there must be loads of parks and pub teams looking for a new way to spice up training. Well, why not try this little warm-up routine demonstrated by the great man himself, Ronaldo.

During training in Nantes the Brazilian juggled the ball on his thigh, caught it behind his neck, and - with the ball still in position on his shoulders - lowered himself to the ground to do half a dozen push-ups.

The exhibition of skill brought a glorious round of applause from the crowd watching the Brazilian training session. It's certain to do the same over here at training sessions across the country this season - isn't it?
