Skilled labor training centers to be set up in Balochistan.
ISLAMABAD -- Balochistan government has decided to start more training centers for producing skilled labor force in the province.
Talking to a private news channel on Thursday, Director General Labor and Manpower Saeed Ahmad said that the purpose of this initiative is to produce enough skilled labor force for CPEC project which will pass through the province.
He said about 5000 skilled laborers are being trained for small industries by the centers which are already functioning in the province.
He said that decision to establish new training centers has been made keeping in view future needs for skilled labour force.
Saeed Ahmad said that technical training centers will be opened for men and women in all the 34 districts of the province.
He said that centers will be set up which cater to the needs of both genders.
There are eleven training centers which train male while eight centers are providing training to women in the province.
There are thirteen more training centers established under Prime Minister Program, he added.
He said that it is a positive development and will reduce unemployment in the province and women should also be provided equal opportunities in getting proper and requisite training.
