Ski BULLITT AeroShield.

After relocating to Denver from Chicago for his wife Marla's job, Chad Yetka, an aerospace engineer and consultant, found himself contemplating his next career move--and skiing almost every day. Inspiration struck on a drive back from Vail when he saw a truck with an air shield on its roof; he envisioned a similar device for your everyday ski racks and soon launched a manufacturing company with Marla. Chad's brainchild, the Ski BULLITT AeroShield, sheaths a ski-laden rack with a sleek polypropylene shell, saving gas, cutting noise, and protecting skis. Marla also dubs the AeroShield "a cool way to advertise, because there's no billboards on 1-70 between Idaho Springs and Vail." Promotional clients like Coors, Mountain Dew and United Airlines agree. $49.95 retail.
