Skanska receives motorway order in Hong Kong.

Skanska has received an order for a motorway in Hong Kong through its joint venture Gammon Skanska.

The estimated value of the contract is SEK1.7bn.

The customer for the project is HKSAR Government of Highways Department and the location for the project is the northern part of the Deep Bay Link in the Hong Kong New Territories.

The project will be launched immediately and the completion is expected to be in October 2005.

One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.08 British pounds (GBP).
