Skanska AB (STO:SKAB) announced on Monday that Skanska Sweden has signed an agreement with Trafikverket to work out the prerequisites for implementing the contract 'E9961 Tunnel and Station Sundbyberg -Solna' in the infrastructure project Malarbanan.

This contract, worth SEK300m, will be included by Skanska in the order bookings for Skanska Sweden in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Reportedly, the first and preparatory phase begins in November 2018 and is scheduled to end in February 2021.

Project Malarbanan comprises the railway line between Tomteboda and Kallhall, which will get four instead of two tracks.

Skanska is a leading construction and project development company, focused on selected home markets in the Nordic region, Europe and US.
