Sizzling has it on a plate.
THE consistent Sizzling might be capable of making her stakes race breakthrough in the listed Staffordstown Stud Stakes in Navan tomorrow.
It'll be an historic day at the County Meath venue, with the Irish Cesarewitch finding a new, temporary home, on a card which includes three listed events.
And Sizzling is no more than a hopeful choice in the Staffordstown, in which she'll renew recent Naas rivalry with stable-companion Ballet Shoes, a listed winner at Tipperary three runs back.
A half-length separated the pair in Naas, when Sizzling finished second to British raider Ellthea in the Group 3 Park Stakes, with Ballet Shoes, the long-time leader, close behind.
Ridden then by Ryan Moore, Sizzling stayed on dourly up the hill to snatch second spot close home. And this stiff mile should suit her.
Belated winner of her maiden at Tipperary, Sizzling finished a close fourth to Laurens in the (Group 2) May Hill at Doncaster prior to her Naas run. And she might get the job done here under Wayne Lordan.
