Six to face court again in August after appearing on sex offences charges.

SIX men charged with sex offences after Operation Pallial's probe into child abuse at North Wales care homes during the 1980s appeared at Mold Crown Court yesterday.

Mark Granger, 63, of Leicester, is charged with three counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault.

Roy Norry, 54, of Connah's Quay, faces four counts of indecent assault, one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault.

David Lightfoot, 71, of Ellesmere Port, faces three counts of indecent assault, one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault.

Edward Julian Huxley, 69, of Maidenhead, faces two counts of indecent assault.

Neil Pheonix, 62, of Wrexham, faces one charge of indecent assault.

Keith Stokes, 61, of Chester, faces three counts of indecent assault, three of gross indecency, one count of sexual assault and attempted sexual assault.

The cases were adjourned until August.
