Six matches decided in BoP Lahore Open Polo championship.

LAHORE -- Six matches were decided on Thursday in the Bank of Punjab Lahore Open Polo championship being played at Lahore Polo Club. Army Green and Diamond paints played a 3-3 draw game. Lt Col Zulfiqar Nadeem scored three goals and one goal was the effort of Sikandar Pataudi for Army Green while Raja Taimur Nadeem entered two goals and Atif Yar Tiwana hit the third goal for Diamond Pints.

Diamond Paints in the second match outplayed Allied Bank by 5 goals to two goals. Raja Taimur Nadeem scored three goals and Atif Yar Tiwana hit two goals for the winners. For Allied Bank Limited Saqib Khan Khakwani scored both the goals. The third match between Army Green and Allied Bank Limited ended in 3-3 draw. Maj. Gen Isfandyar Ali Khan Pataudi scored two goals and one goal was hit by Lt Col Zulfiqar Baig for Army Green while Saqib Khan Khakwani netted two goals and one goal was done by Taimur Ali Malik for Allied Bank.

Magic Rive beat Newage Cables in the fourth match by three goals to two goals. Ahmad Ali Tiwana scored two goals and Usman Haye scored one goal for the winners while Newage Cables Sameer Habib Oberoi and Adnan Jalil Azam was the scorer. Army White defeated Newage Cables in the fifth match by five goals to three goals. Maj Shayan Abbasi, Hav. Shahzad entered two goals each and one goal was hit by Capt. Faizan Tasaddaq for Army White. For Newage Cables Sameer Habib Oberoi netted two goals and Naveed M Sheikh scored one goal.

Magic River /Waste Buster beat Army While in the last match of the by 4-2 and qualify to play the Subsidiary final on Sunday. Ali Ahmad Tiwan hit three goals and one goal was the effort of Ahmad Nawaz Tiwana for the winner. For Army While Maj Shayan Abbasi and Hav Shahzad scored one goal each.
