Six Feet Under ads rapped.

SPOOF ads for TV show Six Feet Under prompted 103 complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority.

One ad showed embalming fluid with the tag line "Skin to die for".

Among the gripes about the Channel 4 ads was one from the Cosmetics, Toiletries and Perfumery Association. They said the images could be mistaken for real products and were offensive to the bereaved.

The ASA said fans would recognise the ads as spoofs but upheld the complaints as there was room for confusion because neither the channel nor show logos were used.
