Sirocom opts for BT technology.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-2 March 2004-Sirocom opts for BT technology(C)1994-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Virtual network operator Sirocom has signed up to the Revenue Discount Scheme from UK telecomms company BT plc.

Under the terms of the agreement Sirocom will add Ethernet-based Internet connectivity to its managed enterprise VPN service. This is expected to make the company more competitive through increased network reach, financial stability and network reliability, according to the company.

The agreement has been valued at GBP3m and is scheduled to last for three years.
