Siniora: Lebanese not ready to forsake civil peace.

Download Siniora: Lebanese not ready to forsake civil peace NNA - MP Fouad Siniora on Friday said that the Lebanese were not ready to forsake civil peace by meddling into other countries' affairs. "I believe that the Lebanese are not ready to forsake civil peace just because somebody has asked them to interfere here and there," he said, indirectly criticizing Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's "attempts to implicate Lebanon." "This recklessness is unacceptable," he stressed. Siniora made these remarks during a tour in Sidon. On the election law, the head of the Future bloc voiced concerns over likely disagreements regarding the division of Beirut, which he deemed "the capital of all the Lebanese and coexistence among them." "This is the model that we must provide of Beirut," he said. =========R.A.H.
