Singers unite for Messiah.

TWO famous Welsh choirs will join forces for a special performance of Handel's Messiah to celebrate the 140th birthday of a Swansea chapel.

Cardiff Bach Choir will join Tabernacle Morriston Choir from Swansea at the Tabernacle Chapel, Morriston, Swansea, on Saturday, December 3. It is the first time in ten years the choir from Swansea has performed the piece at the chapel, which is celebrating its 140th birthday.

Rather than with an orchestra, the piece will be performed with an organ played by Glenn Crooks.

The concert is being run under the supervision of Luke Spencer, musical director both of Tabernacle Morriston and the Cardiff Bach choirs.

The performance starts at 7pm. Tickets can be bought by calling 07739 467494 or at, or from any choir member. Tickets are also available at the door.
