Singapore-based insurance technology firm, Singapore Life, has said that it has secured funding from Japan-based Sumitomo Life Insurance.

The firm said that it has secured USD90m in funding from the Japanese insurance company. A 25 percent stake in Singapore Life will change hands as part of the deal. The new funds are to be used by the firm to expand its digital offerings.
