Sindh Govt makes headway by setting up forensic, anti-molecular bio Lab.
KARACHI -- Sindh Government has achieved another milestone to curb the crime and ensure justice to the people by establishing forensic and anti- molecular biology laboratory for DNA testing.
This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah while addressing the inaugural ceremony of forensic and anti-molecular laboratory for DNA testing and Institute of Bio Medical Technology established by Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), held here on Thursday.
He said that it was a very important technology to identify the missing people, identification of unknown bodies or to ascertain the paternity in a dispute not only to ensure justice to the aggrieved party but also to curb the crime as well.
The Vice Chancellor LUMHS Prof. Dr. Noshad Shaikh also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of DNA testing laboratory and its importance.
Later on, talking to media Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the provincial government made all arrangements to ensure transparent and peaceful by-election to NA-246.
