Simpatico celebrates its first million cases shipped internationally

Brandevor Enterprises Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Brandevor USA, Inc., has shipped its one millionth case of Simpatico beer from the producer in Mexico, Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc, S.A. since it began shipping the product.

Simpatico was first launched in test markets in September of 1987 and its national rollout commenced in January 1988. The brand is currently sold in five countries including the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Approximately 80 percent of all shipments go to the U.S. market.

"Our first million cases marks significant milestone on the road toward our goals," said Robert Imeson, chief executive officer, Brandevor Enterprises. Initial acceptance, particularly in the USA markets, is unparalleled in import beer history which certainly bodes well for our future."

Brandevor marked the one millionth case with a celebration at the local production brewery in Cuidad-Juarez, Mexico, which was attended by the executives of both the brewery and Brandevor as well as marketing, sales and administrative personnel.
