The US companies SilverStream Software Inc and Autonomy Inc have signed an original equipment manufacturer agreement.

Under the agreement a core piece of Autonomy's dynamic reasoning engine will be embedded within SilverStream's eXtend Director 3.0, a system for the delivery of content, data and web services to customers, partners and employees regardless of the device they use. Autonomy's technology will enable SilverStream's system to analyse and rank concepts within unstructured information, such as e-mail, voicemail, web pages and documents, so that it can be categorised, linked to related information and delivered to the appropriate person.
