Silent auction and raffle earn $8,507 for ASAE's 100th Anniversary Fund.
Auctioned items were given by ASAE members, their employers, spouses, and others. Contributing to the auction were: Henry Affeldt, Joseph Bornstein, Briggs and Stratton, Claude Brown, CNH, Deere & Company, Farm Safety 4 Just Kids, Carroll Goering, Larry Gruenberger, Yvonne Gustafson, Donald Henderson, Gale and Donna Holloway, Larry and Lola Huggins, John and Judy Hummel, John Deere Waterloo, John Deere Waterworks, George and Rhoda Kriz, Benson Lamp, MSU-Department of Agricultural Engineering, Melissa Moore, Ellen Nelson, New Holland NA, Chuck Peterson, Roger Rohrbach, Carl Scianna, Sharon Scott, Wayne and Judy Skaggs, Barbara Sowden, Jim Steele, and Art Teixeria.
Awarded to the highest bidder were vacation packages, pedal tractors, books, prints, photo cards, drawings, model tractors and trucks, mantle clock, brass bell, sound machines, clothing items including scarves and jackets, crystal vases, flatware, wine, ASAE memorabilia, and more.
Something new this year was the sale of raffle tickets with the winner having a choice of a case of wine or $250. The winning ticket was bought by ASAE member Lal Kushwaha.
Proceeds for this year's auction and raffle will go toward ASAE's 100th Anniversary Fund.
The auction and raffle assist the Foundation in providing funding for Society projects that cannot be funded through the annual budget. More than 40 funds are available for contributions.
