Signs aren't looking good; Letters.
LAST year I had problems with Coventry Council and its signage department regarding the signs erected on two green spaces in my area.
It was like pulling teeth to nally get them to admit the signs were wrong, but not wishing to lose the battle, the council agreed to rectify them when they needed replacing, knowing of course that wouldn't happen for about 50 years! e cost of PS1,500 was also an issue.
Strangely in the last few months, two of the signs have been moved, presumably to make them fore visible? I contacted my local councillor many weeks ago to nd out how much this may have cost, but have not had the courtesy of a reply.
So we have a council who couldn't aord to rectify incorrect signs, but can aord probably more to make incorrect signs more visible!
