Signal Technology Hires Chief Technologist for the Arizona Operation and the Signal Wireless Group.

30-Year Wireless Industry Veteran Brings Vast Technological Expertise

to Help Drive the Development of Innovative Wireless Products

Signal Technology Corporation (AMEX:STZ) announced today that Robert Levin has joined its Arizona Operation as Vice President and Chief Technologist. Mr. Levin will be responsible for new product engineering and business development at the Arizona Operation and for certain projects at the Signal Wireless Group. Mr. Levin will report to Gene L. Joles, President of the Arizona Operation.

Mr. Levin joins Signal from Comtech Wireless, Inc., a company he co-founded and subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications Corporation. Mr. Levin had responsibility for product and business development for the wireless broadband local loop market. Mr. Levin has more than 30 years of experience in commercial microwave and millimeter-wave engineering and product design, systems engineering, satellite communications, business development and high-technology management. Mr. Levin previously held senior management positions with Interstate Electronics Corporation, Adaptive Broadband (previously California Microwave), Radyne Comstream (previously Radyne Corp.) and Comtech Laboratories, Inc.

Mr. Levin has a BEE from City College of the City University of New York, an MSEE from Polytechnic Institute of New York and an MBA from Roth Graduate School of Business Administration, Long Island University.
