Another real estate company is joining the growing list of firms to close their doors in the Little Rock market.

Company signs should begin disappearing soon for the Lee Gibson Co. Our sources tell us that employees were given the word the company would close effective Nov. 1.

The company has surprised many with its resilience following the suicide of its namesake founder a few years ago. Some morbid prophets predicted that Lee's death foreshadowed the demise of his company back then.

But the firm carried on for a while longer before it became a part of the market consolidation.
